Al Qaeda Conspiracy Theory

structured settlement

In which Iran makes Al Qaeda very mad

If @10,000 lives had not already been lost, I suppose we would be laughing our silly head off. In a fit of pique, ABC News reports that editors of the al Qaeda English-language magazine, “Inspire”, have taken issue with Iranian President Mohammad Ahmadinejad for claiming that it was the US (CIA) and Israel (Mossad) who launched the September 11 attacks on the WTC twin towers (which curiously brought down an additional building) and the Pentagon, and not the action of 19 martyrs from al Qaeda.

Al Qaeda wrote the article to chastise Ahmanidenijad for not recognizing THEM as the attackers during his speech to the UN general assembly, as they take some pride in being avengers against the “great Satan” (meaning us).

Let me be blunt. By all evidence, Ahmanidenijad is absolutely correct. The official conspiracy theory of 19 hijackers with box-cutters has holes in it, to put it politely. The government was in on the real plot along with the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, with the permission and great enthusiasm of the newish WTC complex owner, Larry Silverstein. But we’re not here to explain the real story about how and why the buildings fell and who benefited from their falling.

By stating what is in fact the truth, Ahmanidenijad has further alienated himself and his country from the U.S., and he has also incited the rage of al Qaeda, a group the US has long considered to be natural allies with Iran. Thick as thieves, some might say.

“Ain’t so,” says the wounded writer at “Inspire.” “We done it, we’re the scariest bogeymen the west will ever know, and we will not have the Iranian president besmirching our wonderfully foul reputation.”

I’m paraphrasing, of course, but you simply can’t read an article like the one in “Inspire” without finding the humor irresistible. Yes yes, we know, thousands were killed in the WTC operation, whoever was responsible, and other 9 or so thousand lives have been lost in continuing action in Iraq and Iran. Oh heck, let’s throw in Egypt, Libya and Yemen while we’re about it.

If I seem glib about this, it is because the “great Satan” happens to live much closer to the U.S.  than many would like to imagine, and unless we’re terribly honest so as to expose him for who he really is and where he truly lives, he will be free to strike again, and at will.
