The Revolution Is Being Televised

What this world is coming to
The voices are calling from South Asia, the heartland of Europe, India, Israel, the Middle East, and now even the U.S. The cries are about corruption, joblessness, poverty, powerlessness, racial and income and class inequality, and about the abuse of power wielded by the few against the many. The tone balances between rage and scorn, mourning and defiance. The bond is youth, the tool is anarchy, and the enemy is the elite.
This is no sci-fi screenplay about some future Orwellian nightmare. The nightmare is real, it is global and it has already started. The nightmare is now. Mix elements of the contagion and the growth of the Arab Spring (now extending into Fall and spreading toward Winter), the riots in Britain, the public assemblies in Greece, Spain, Israel, the protests in India, the new fearful Japan, and now the slowly spreading embers of protest in the U.S., and we see a world in which the young and the powerless are finding their unity of voice against the entrenched powers of oppression.
In Libya, Syria, Egypt and Britain we have seen peaceful protest swept up into explosion of violence. The planted by government forces among peaceful protesters have also been sparking violence in crowds from New York to Karachi.
In the U.S., police have cracked down on protesters with pepper spray, clubs and steel-toed boots. The reaction to police violence has sparked sympathy Out of Wall Street marches in Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Boston, and has prompted AFL-CIO boss Richard Trumka to officially bring the weight of the workers union to the cause.
The truth will out, no matter how the press attempts to downplay or dismiss the current upheaval around the globe. The events are symptomatic of a global unease about the abuse of power and an indication that the tipping point of pain has been reached.
This is the start of a worldwide effort by the powerless to wrest control from the corporate elite, be they military or civilian.

Look at what humanity is going through. The powerless has at last found heir voice to cry their sentiments. They are no longer cowering on their sides from those powerful ones. They probably had enough of the maltreatment, the prejudice, of being the underdog and many other forms of injustice. I believe now is the time for them to unite and claim what is rightfully theirs.
These are our future generations trying to qwell the storm before we leave all this mess to them. And rightfully they should we were not left with this mess they should not be either.
