Bust The Justice

Structured settlements

Many times I have been thoroughly disgusted with our justice system.  How can we change this?  Maybe it is time to bust the justice.

On August 19, 2011, the news stations ran a story about three men who had spent the last eighteen years in prison for the murder of a young boy.  Turns out that when new dna evidence was lifted from the scene, none of those three men were guilty.  Or so it appears!

The story goes on to say that the three young men, now much older, 18 years later were  released from prison without penalty.  NO!  The District Attorney would not sign off on their release unless they pleaded guilty.  Given that one of them was on death row, they did plead guilty. Now how is that justice?
What does the District Attorney have to gain from this?  Was the nice attorney just saving face?  This writer thinks so.  If the state felt that the men should be released then it should have been so.  No guilty plea, if not guilty, should have been considered, not for a minute!   Obviously I have my own opinion, so what’s yours?

It appears to me that someone, some where did not want to admit they made a mistake.

So instead of these men being released without penalty and restitution for the eighteen years of thier lives that were lost, they were forced to admit that they were guilty?  Let’s bust the justice now!

I for one, can not believe that our justice system is so very crooked that they would allow someone, rather force someone into admitting to something when they have cold hard evidence that the men were not guilty, or lack thereof.

Somewhere along the line, we as people need to bust our justice system wide open and not allow dis-justices like this to happen in our society.  I am telling you, that after working in a prison system, it could be any of us at any given time in the same situation.  Are you going to let this happen to you or someone you love?  The choice is yours.  Will you help me bust the justice?  (Not laughing out loud!)

I would love to help bust the justice! Our justice system has become nothing but a joke! They would rather put someone in jail for traffic violation’s then someone who killed someone!
