America financial plan?  Say what?  I recently read an article in which the German automaker’s chief financial officer, Bodo Uebber, commented to the fact that America needs to get a financial plan.  He also alluded to the fact that people get tired of hearing all about the crisis when there is no apparent plan in sight.

I for one am one of these people who are tired of hearing all the mouth-wagging and seeing no action.  The government keeps telling us that we are in a financial crisis as a country.  Well do something about it.

From what I have observed people have been calling out for our congress to make a big financial change.  Yet this change has never happened.

We hear congressmen yelling and screaming that this needs to be done or that needs to be done financially.  They talk constantly about what they want done.  However, should it not be what the people want?

I for one want to see our country back.  I want to see our country standing on its own two feet.  Why is that there all kinds of laws to govern our citizens about debt, yet we seem to have none that seem to be substantial to our Congress.

They import goods daily.  Yes that is great for public relations with other countries.  There are goods manufactured in our country daily.  Why not use those instead of putting our country more in debt to another country?

Now there is the topic of the import of oil.  The United States has reserves of oil according to Wikipedia that number above 21 billion reserves.  Please can someone tell me why we are not using these instead of importing oil?

It seems to me, and maybe I have blinders on or something, that if we would start using the products that we have here in the United States that not only would we be able to lower the National Debt, but would also be able to keep our own economy alive.  It would seem that it would stimulate jobs as well.  When jobs are stimulated, then the money flows more freely into our economy.

So America:  Get a financial plan!  Listen to your people and do what is right.
